Bill Barman was born in Sweetwater, Texas on December 11, 1954. He is the eldest son, #3 in birth order, with three brothers and three sisters. Though the family was raised in rural Orange County, he is the only sibling still residing here. He was educated at Our Lady of Guadalupe primary school in La Habra, St. Paul High in Santa Fe Springs, & St. John’s Seminary in Camarillo for College and Graduate studies. Father Bill was ordained a priest of the Diocese of Orange on June 13, 1981 and has been in pastoral, parish ministry since that time. He is currently pastor of Our Lady of Fatima in San Clemente. Father Bill has been a board member of American Family Housing since 2005. His friends would tell you: “Bill’s always begging for one thing or another; always doing something for the poor”.
