About

This innovative residential community includes 71 affordable apartment homes, of which two-thirds are set aside for people exiting homelessness. Built rapidly using modular housing, many of these homes cater to high-frequency utilizers of the healthcare system, emphasizing a whole-person approach to addressing homelessness.

This beautiful residential community in Midway City, CA provides a mix of supportive and affordable housing. Developed in a first-ever partnership of its kind with the County of Orange and CalOptima Health, many of the homes in this innovative community are set aside for high-frequency utilizers of the healthcare system who are experiencing homelessness.

Casa Paloma represents AFH’s first partnership with our colleagues at Veloce Partners as we continue to innovate. Constructed using prefabricated modular housing, this community was completed in 2022. By building the units in a factory while work was already underway at the site, months were shaved off of the construction schedule, saving money and more importantly, getting our tenants into housing more quickly.
